Jones dodges another USADA bullet, can return 10/28

Jon ‘Bones’ Jones is off the hook yet again and can return to the Octagon as early as Oct. 28. However, it says here that it won’t be long until this dipshit is in trouble again.

Jon ‘Bones’ Jones has been an unmitigated disaster outside of the Octagon for many years now. His fuck-ups have been well chronicled on this website.

But like a cat with nine lives, the former UFC light-heavyweight champion is being given another chance. On Wednesday, USADA ruled that Jones didn’t knowingly cheat and that a contaminated supplement was the cause of his positive test for a banned substance. Therefore, Jones has been issued a retroactive 15-month ban and can return to the UFC on Oct. 28.

Dana White released this statement in the last hour:

The final two words in White’s statement imply that there’s no plan for Jones to fight in 2018. What does this mean for Daniel Cormier, the double champ currently holding two straps? White will field those questions tomorrow on ESPN and at the UFC 229 presser for Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Eastern.
