Jacob Doddridge is featured in today’s edition of the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram.

Doddridge, a 6’3″ 225-pound rising senior at Southlake Carroll High School, is a three-star recruit who is ranked as the sixth-best OLB in the state of Texas. Some schools are recruiting the versatile Doddridge as a fullback.

During his junior season, he made unofficial visits to Clemson, UCLA, Kansas St. and Baylor, among others. His parents, Jonathan and Claire, went to school at Baylor.

Jacob attended camp at Stanford in June but is now focused on his senior season. He currently holds offers from Nevada, Army and a slew of Ivy League and FCS schools, but that’ll change as four and five-star players make their decisions in the coming months.

Other schools that are regularly in touch with Doddridge include Stanford, Northwestern, Houston and Texas.

I’ll get an in-person look at Doddridge during the Gators’ open date when Southlake plays host to Marcus at Dragon Stadium.
