Miss Arizona laughs at Todd Graham’s ‘D’

If you wasted your time like me (during halftime of and after Gonzaga rallied past Florida in college hoops) watching Arizona’s pimpslap of Arizona St. late Friday night, at least one good thing came of those hours we’ll never have back.
And no, I’m not talking about Todd Graham looking like a fool for four quarters, as his team showed zero heart, no effort and took an assbeating from its arch rival that had lost eight consecutive games.
I’m talking about our introduction to Miss Arizona — Tommy Lynn Calhoun. No, that’s not a typo. It’s not Tammy Lynn. Again, it’s Tommy Lynn Calhoun.
She was on the sidelines near the pylon when Arizona’s Brandon Dawkins was pushed out of bounds just short of a touchdown. Dawkins fell into and on top of none other than Calhoun, who handled the fall with grace. Then as she was interviewed live on ESPN, Dawkins came over to offer his apologies.

Calhoun was fired up for the Wildcats, who hadn’t tasted a victory since mid-September and hadn’t won a Pac-12 game all year. Until Friday, that is. Arizona St. started the season 5-1, only to lose its last six games. Graham’s buyout is $14 million so even though he should be on the hot seat, he’ll probably have at least another season in Tempe.
