–St. Preux is poised to leap into the light-heavyweight title picture with a win over Teixeira, who is coming off back-to-back losses by decision to Jon Jones and Phil Davis. OSP has won six of seven UFC fights with the only setback coming by decision to Ryan Bader. OSP, who played football at Tennessee is still trains in Knoxville, has won consecutive fights over Patrick Cummins and Shogun Rua via first-round KOs.

2-Michael Johnson (-160) vs. Beniel Dariush (+120)
–Johnson is on a serious roll with four straight victories over Joe Lauzon,Gleison Tibau, Melvin Guillard and Edson Barboza.
–I rarely back a favorite north of -140, but I’m confident enough in Johnson to risk two units at the -160 price.
3-Derek Brunson (-400) vs. Sam Alvey (+325)
–Alvey has won three in a row by first-round KO. I’ll go with him for one unit for the generous underdog odds.
