Jones named as suspect, injured woman was pregnant

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is actively being sought by the Albuquerque Police Department. Jones is no longer wanted for questioning; he’s now been named a suspect in a hit-and-run case earlier this morning.

APD spokesman Simon Drobik has told multiple media outlets: “The case has progressed and he is now our suspect in the the hit and run that happened earlier this morning involving a pregnant female. We are now definitely looking at him as a suspect.”

A 20-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Jones camp has remained silent. The UFC has released a statement.

This smells like the Tiger Woods Fiasco, but it might be worse when all the facts are in.

Until then, Jones is wanted by the authorities and his future appears to have taken a significant hit.
