–As of early Saturday afternoon, most books had Kentucky installed as an eight-point road favorite for tonight’s SEC showdown at Florida. You can follow all the line moves here.

–Check out my full preview for Kentucky at Florida here at VegasInsider.com.

–As always, great stuff here from Florida beat writer Chris Harry over at Gatorzone.com.

–This is UF’s first game as a home underdog since March of 2012.

–During Billy Donovan’s tenure, Florida is 11-7 vs. Kentucky at home in the O-Dome.

–In five chances, the Gators have twice beaten the nation’s No. 1 ranked team under Donovan. However, they have never beaten UK when it has been No. 1 in three attempts.

–Kentucky has been a single-digit favorite three times, going 3-0 ATS in those spots vs. Kansas, at Louisville and at Alabama.

–UK’s Trey Lyles (illness) was left back in Lexington and won’t play against the Gators.

–Wyoming star Larry Nance Jr. is ‘out’ today at Air Force due to a mild case of mono. Since Nance was ruled out, the line moved from Wyoming -2 to Air Force -1. This game tips in Colorado Springs at 2:00 p.m. Eastern.

–Arkansas forward Michael Qualls, the team’s second-leading scorer, is ‘questionable’ vs. Mississippi St. Qualls injured his knee earlier this week. The Bulldogs are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games. Tip-off at Bud Walton Arena is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Eastern, with the SEC Network providing the telecast.

–Evansville star center Egidijus Mockevicius is ‘out’ today against Bradley.

Kansas St. will most likely be without Marcus Foster again today vs. Texas.

–Boise St. will put its six-game winning streak on the line Sunday vs. San Diego St. at Taco Bell Arena. I’m thinking Derrick Marks and Co. will be short favorites. I’ll call it -2.5 or three.

–All indications are that Kansas St. will be without leading scorer Marcus Foster again today at home vs. Texas. The Wildcats learned of Foster’s indefinite suspension just an hour before getting blasted at Texas Tech earlier this week.

–VCU’s Treveon Graham didn’t make the trip for today’s game at St. Bonaventure. The Rams were already without the school’s all-time steals leader in senior guard Briante Weber, who went down with a season-ending injury last weekend.

–According to USA Today, the Sacramento Kings are seriously considering hiring George Karl over the All-Star break.
