Will Aaron Hernandez’s Baby Mama testify against him?

Just three days before his old team will play in the Super Bowl, the murder trial of Aaron Hernandez is underway in Fall River, Massachusetts. The former New England tight end is accused of killing Odin Lloyd about a mile from his multi-million dollar home in June of 2013.

The biggest question going into the trial is whether or not The Commonwealth has convinced Hernandez’s fiancee and Baby Mama to flip on him. The defense already has some big wins under its belt, including rulings that have made Herandez’s previous bad acts (like three other alleged shootings, particularly a double homicide that he’ll stand trial for after this verdict) inadmissible in the Lloyd trial.

There are 12 jurors and six alternates. The gender breakdown is 13 women and five men.
