My take on the Week 10 SEC games via SaturdayDownSouth.com.

–My weekly Read-Option piece at The Linemakers touches on the QB situation at Utah St. The Aggies are down to their fourth-string QB, who had to have his redshirt burned last week.

–There are four crucial Week 11 games that will have ramifications for the College Football Playoff’s selection committee. I broke down those four games earlier this week at VegasInsider.com.

My Ole Miss-Auburn preview at VegasInsider.com.

–I’m off to a solid start in Week 10, cashing a pair of easy winners on Thursday and Friday. I had the ‘over’ (51) for Louisville-FSU that saw 73 combined points scored. I also backed Cincinnati as a single-digit favorite last night when the Bearcats cruised to a 38-14 win at Tulane. I have seven picks going tonight.

–My favorite season win total for 2014 can cash today. I’ve been bullish on Mississippi St.’s season win total to go ‘over’ 7.5 since June and I explained my reasoning in this column over the summer.

–Mike Bianchi of the Orlando Sentinel presents his take on what’s gone wrong during Will Muschamp’s tenure at Florida. He also thinks Georgia is poised to deliver the dagger to its alum’s first head-coaching gig.

A year after UGA beat UF by a 42-30 score, Brandon Spikes set the tone for a 49-10 victory in 2008.

–Since 1989, Georgia has beaten Florida by a double-digit margin only twice. In 1997, Robert Edwards exploded to lead UGA to a 37-17 victory. In 2007, the game in which Mark Richt elected to send his entire team on the field to celebrate UGA’s first touchdown (and then paid for it the next two years in pimpslaps by scores of 49-10 and 41-17), the Bulldogs beat UF by a 42-30 count behind brilliant performances from Matthew Stafford and Knowshon Moreno.

–Georgia RB Keith Marshall has been ruled ‘out’ of today’s game vs. Florida due to an ankle injury.

–As of late this morning, UGA was favored by 11 over UF with a total of 47.5.

–Clemson QB Deshaun Watson has resumed throwing and might be able to come back next weekend.
