South Carolina improved to 3-1 straight up but fell victim to a vintage sandwich spot and never threatened to cover the 21.5-point spread in Saturday’s 48-34 win at Vanderbilt. The Gamecocks were coming off a monster win over Georgia with a huge SEC East clash coming up against Missouri this weekend.
Likewise, Missouri fell victim the look-ahead situation, too. However, the Tigers lost outright to Indiana as 14-point home favorites.

‘Mark, our guys just played better than yours…again. They’ll probably give you some grief…and so forth.
USC head coach Steve Spurrier wasn’t pleased with his team’s performance in Nashville. He made that clear in yet another comical/classic rant at the post-game presser in Music City. You can enjoy it here.
As of Tuesday morning, most betting shops had South Carolina installed as a six-point home favorite over Missouri.
