UFC 173 Odds: Cormier heavily favored vs. Hendo

In the co-main event at UFC 173, light heavyweights Daniel Cormier and Dan Henderson will collide. If Cormier can prevail, he will most likely get a crack at the 205-pound title against the winner of Jon ‘Bones’ Jones and Alexander Gustafsson.
5Dimes opened ‘DC’ as a -425 ‘chalk’ over Henderson, who halted a three-fight losing streak by scoring a third-round KO of Shogun Rua in late March. The number quickly got higher and had to come down some to land at -705 as of late Sunday night.
Brittney Palmer will bring her hotness to the Octagon at UFC 173.
In another main-card bout with lots of intrigue, Robbie Lawler will take on Jake Ellenberger in a welterweight scrap. 5Dimes opened Lawler as a -215 favorite versus ‘The Juggernaut.’ Lawler is currently at -260 (at 5Dimes) with Ellenberger as the +180 underdog.

The next defense of Cain Velasquez’s heavyweight strap will come at UFC 180 against Fabricio Werdum. As expected, the reigning champ is an expensive favorite. (see below)
Another looming bout in the heavyweight loop got a number this week. Junior dos Santos is a -500 favorite vs. Stipe Miocic, who is a +335 underdog.
