One week to the day that Anderson Silva saw his reign as UFC middleweight champion ended by a second-round KO loss to Chris Weidman, Dana White appeared on Sports Center and announced that the rematch would take place on Dec. 28 at UFC 168.

Ronda Rousey will also defend her women’s bantamweight strap vs. Miesha Tate in the co-main event.

5Dimes has Silva installed as a -150 favorite, while Weidman is available for a +110 return (risk $100 to win $110). Rousey is an enormous -1050 ‘chalk’ vs. Tate, who is +550 on the comeback (risk $100 to win $550).

On Friday, T.J. Grant was forced to pull out of his lightweight title match vs. Benson Henderson due to a concussion suffered in training. Anthony ‘Showtime’ Pettis will replace Grant vs. ‘Smooth.’

Pettis won a unanimous decision over Henderson when both competed for the World Extreme Cagefighting promotion.

5Dimes has Henderson listed as a -125 favorite vs. Pettis (-115).
