**B.E.’s Bonus Nuggets**

–This AFC West race is getting very interesting. The Raiders are playing extremely well and they’ll be getting Darren McFadden back soon. The Broncos, who are one game back of division-leading Oakland, are on fire thanks to a stout defense and inspiring play from veteran RB Willis McGahee, WR Eric Decker and QB Tim Tebow.

–Speaking of Tebow, I beg the haters to keep doing their thing! The University of Florida product owns a 5-1 record as a starter this year and has an outstanding 8/1 touchdown-to-interception ratio. In comeback wins at Miami, at Oakland, vs. the Jets and at San Diego, Tebow has made plays galore with both his arm and his legs at crunch time.

–Man, you have to feel for the Texans, who are currently the No. 1 seed in the AFC but are without perennial Pro-Bowl DE Mario Williams and are down to their third-string quarterback, rookie T.J. Yates from out of North Carolina. For those unfamiliar with Yates, he had an up-and-down career with the Tar Heels until the 2010 campaign. As a senior, however, with the UNC program immersed in controversy and suspensions, Yates was solid as a rock.

–The Dolphins have covered the spread in five consecutive games. Also, they have seen the ‘under’ cash at a lucrative 9-1-1 clip for the season.

–My NFL picks, as documented here on VegasInsider.com, went 3-0 on Sunday with winners on the Patriots, Broncos and Bills-Jets ‘over.’ For the season, I now own a 42-22-4 record (66%) that’s resulted in more than 18 units of profit.

–Again, big-time apologies for the piss-poor shape of BrianEdwardsSports.com over the last 5-6 days! Some sort of virus has caused chafeness galore and all previous archived content dating back to the start of the site in August is unavailable. We’re hoping to have that corrected ASAP.
