Alabama is -7.5 vs. Clemson, -250 to win CFP

Trevor Lawrence and the Tigers can bet bet as 7.5-point underdogs in a potential showdown vs. Alabama in the CFP finals.

The Westgate SuperBook has Alabama installed as a 7.5-point favorite vs. Clemson in a possible championship game. There is an asterisk for this wager specifying that the “Game must take place as the Championship Game (not a semifinal matchup).”

The Crimson Tide hosts The Citadel on Saturday and then closes the regular season at home vs. Auburn. They will take on Georgia at the SEC Championship Game in a rematch of last year’s Instant Classic won by ‘Bama in overtime of the College Football Playoff finals.

The Westgate has Alabama as the -250 ‘chalk’ to win the CFP (risk $100 to win $250). The next-shortest odds belong to Clemson (4/1).

The Tigers are followed by Michigan (10/1), Notre Dame (12/1), Georgia (12/1), Ohio State (18/1), Oklahoma (30/1), West Virginia (100/1), Washington St. (200/1) and UCF (1,000/1).

As for next week’s showdown at The ‘Shoe, Michigan is a 3.5-point road favorite at Ohio St.
