The matchup of Louisville QB Lamar Jackson versus Clemson’s stout defense will be fascinating to watch Saturday night at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.

–Lots of Week 3 convo and more in this week’s edition of the Games Galore podcast (15).

My picks for Saturday.

My preview of Clemson at Louisville on VI.

My Tip Sheet for Friday’s three-game card.

My interview on 105.5 The Roar in Clemson with Qualk & Kelly (9/14/17 – Hour 3).

–Current Iron Bowl pointspread via Sportsbook.ag: Alabama -9.5 at Auburn.

–During David Cutcliffe’s 10-year tenure, Duke has posted a 12-2 spread record in 14 games as a double-digit home favorite. The Blue Devils are favored by 14 versus winless Baylor.

–Kentucky has suffered a major hit with junior LB Jordan Jones’s shoulder injury. He won’t play at South Carolina and Mark Stoops said it’s “probably a stretch” to think Jones will be back for next week’s home game vs. Florida. That’s a killer for the Wildcats, who take a 2-0 record into Columbia. Jones had a sensational sophomore campaign in 2016 when he produced a team-high 109 tackles to go with four sacks, 11.5 tackles for loss, nine QB hurries and four passes broken up.

–Vandy, a four-point home underdog vs. Kansas St., owns an 8-3 spread record in 11 games as a home ‘dog since Derek Mason took over for James Franklin.

–Middle Tennessee QB Brent Stockstill is ‘questionable’ at Minnesota.

–The postgame presser for the head coach of the losing team in the Florida at Tennessee game is going to be a nightmare.
