The Atlanta Hawks will be without a pair of starters for Monday’s game at Charlotte. All-Star power forward Paul Millsap will miss the next two games with tightness in his left knee, while Kent Bazemore will be out for at least 7-10 days with a bone bruise in his knee.

Millsap was a late scratch in Saturday’s 113-97 home loss to Portland. The loss dropped Atlanta to 37-32. The Hawks are in second place in the Southeast Division, five games back of the loop-leading Wizards. They are fifth in the Eastern Conference standings, 4.5 games behind fourth-seeded Toronto. Indiana is currently sixth in the East, two games behind Atlanta.

Mike Budenholzer’s team has lost three in a row and six of its last nine. The Hawks are mired in a 3-11 ATS slump. They are 5.5-point road underdogs tonight at Charlotte.

The ‘under’ is on a 14-6 run in Atlanta’s last 20 games. The total for tonight was 204 as of early this morning.

The 32-year-old Millsap is averaging 18.1 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. Bazemore is averaging 11.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game.

DeAndre Bembry has been recalled from the D-League’s Salt Lake City Stars.
