–I went 3-0 on my UFC 187 picks for 8.6 units of profit.

You can check out the UFC 187 salaries over at The MMA Report.

–I have one play for this week’s card in Brazil. In the main event, I like three units on ‘under’ 3.5 rounds (-105 price) for Carlos Condit’s return to the Octagon in enemy territory against Brazilian Thiago Alves, who is off a big win over Jordan Mein. Condit is fighting for the first time since wrecking his knee in a loss to Tyron Woodley on March 15 of 2014.

–Chris Weidman’s walk-out song for his third successful title defense over Vitor Belfort this past Saturday: “I Won’t Back Down” by Tom Petty.

–Who the hell is going to beat Weidman at 185 in the next 3-4 years?! I say nobody. Dana White says Luke Rockhold  or Jacare Souza will get the next shot at ‘The All-American’s’ middleweight strap.

–After his fight with Tim Means, welterweight contender Matt Brown is hoping to face the winner of Condit-Alves. Brown has dropped back-to-back fights by decisions to current champ Robbie Lawler and former 170-pound kingpin Johny Hendricks. “The Immortal’ won seven consecutive fights before losing to Lawler. He was scheduled to face Condit last year but had to pull out due to an injury.

–White also said at the UFC 187 post-fight presser that ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone will get a title shot at lightweight against Rafael dos Anjos, who is hoping to be ready for his first title defense by December after recovering from a partial torn MCL.
