On a thrilling night of fights at U.S. Bank Center in Cincinnati, Matt ‘The Immortal’ Brown put on a show in his hometown in front of a raucous crowd. Brown overcame a rough start that nearly saw him submitted after getting floored by a vicious body shot from a very game Erick Silva.

But Brown finally got out of trouble with two minutes left in the opening round and then went to work. Brown said afterward, “I just did what I do.”

Translation: Brown put a brutal beating on Silva with knees, elbows, punches and kicks. Referee Herb Dean finally called the fight more than midway through Round 3. It was Brown’s seventh straight win, six of which have come by KO.

The rest of the card was outstanding as well, with underdogs galore barking. Check out my full story here at VegasInsider.com.
