2-FSU — Easiest path to Pasadena.
3-Baylor — No Lache, No Problem.
4-Oregon — Nice bounce-back win over a Utah team that’s better than its record.
5-Ohio St. — Things almost got interesting at Illinois.
6-Missouri — No room for error with South Carolina in the clubhouse.
7-Auburn — Every great season needs a lucky break.
8-Texas A&M — Two huge games on the horizon at LSU and at Missouri.
9-Wisconsin — Badgers can beat anybody.
10-Stanford — Cardinal also fell victim to letdown situation (outright).
11-South Carolina — God smiled on the Gamecocks in Columbia & on The Plains.
12-Michigan St. — Showdown with Ohio St. looming.
13-Clemson — Tigers easily covered in Thursday’s blowout win over Ga. Tech.
14-UCLA — His name is Myles Jack and he’s LEGIT!
15-Oklahoma St. — Poised for a big jump in this space if it can beat Baylor.
16-USC — Coach O playing all the right cards to get this job (not lobbying).
17-Ole Miss — Huge game vs. Mizzou in Oxford (Spurrier & Co. will be watching).
18-LSU — Two weeks to prep for Johnny Pigskin. I smell a thriller in B-Rouge.
19-Arizona St. — Sun Devils are 1-3 ATS when they leave Tempe. Play at UCLA next.
20-Georgia — If only we could’ve heard Larry Munson call that one…
21-UCF — Somehow survived at Temple.
22-Louisville — U of L now just 7-13 ATS as double-digit favorite under Charlie Strong.
23-Oklahoma — Whatever Stoops-sey said at halftime worked vs. Iowa St.
24-Minnesota — This story gets A LOT bigger if Gophers can shock Wisconsin.
25-Duke — Cutcliffe behind only Pinkel & Malzahn in Coach of the Year convo.
25-BYU — Cougars have great chance to win on national stage at Notre Dame.
