–Orlando was 8-0 against the spread when listed as an underdog of eight points or more until last night’s 20-point loss at Brooklyn.

–I’ll be a guest this week on ‘Inside the Cage’ with Jason Floyd on his podcast found at The MMA Report. We’ll be discussing this week’s UFC 156 card from a betting angle. We’re recording Wednesday afternoon so the interview should be available at some point tomorrow.

The Paul Finebaum Show is on vacation for the next three months.

–My new favorite show: Duck Dynasty on A&E! Probably not for everybody, but I love it.

–San Francisco quarterback Alex Smith continues to be a class act. Not surprising, but worth a hat tip nonetheless. He will be starting for another club next season.

–For life-long suffering Falcons fans like me, watching Inside the NFL on Showtime last week with the great NFL Films highlights was especially painful.

–Ole Miss is looking for its 10th consecutive win tonight when it faces Kentucky at The Tad Pad in Oxford.

Billy Donovan wants the Gators to stay humble.
